Ladies Auxilliary holding their Spring Tea and Fashion show on May 6th at 7:00 p.m. clothing supplied by Johnson's in Gimli. So keep that date open and come early so you can get a seat.

Ladies will also be hosting the Valentines Day party at the Personal Care Home in Arborg on Feb. 16th, 2011
Our Ladies Auxiliary consists of President Gail Blahey, Vice President Alice Bjornson, Secretary Janet Helgason and Treasurer
Rosemary Thorkelson. Our group consists of 7 life members and 15 regular members. We welcome new members to our group you can
call Gail Blahey at 376-5163 for information. There is an annual membership fee of $10.00. This is a good group of hard working women.
They do many fundraising events for the community and the branch. Their monies that they raise have been donated to the Branch,
Personal Care Home, for Bursuries, the Town of Arborg Cheer Board and many out of town organizations such as the Salvation Army, Cancer Care, Heart & Stroke, Deer Lodge, and many more organizations. etc.
They hand out 2 Bursuries each year to very deserving students from the Arborg Collegiate of $500.00 each.
The ladies visit their shut-ins during Christmas and Easter, put on Valentine and Halloween parties at the Personal Care Home, host the Poppy campagain for the Legion, prepare food for our Remembrance Day Ceremony, will also cater lunchies for different functions and hold a pancake breakfast. You can see this keeps the ladies very busy.
The ladies also put on a very successful Spring Tea and Fashion Show this and one Christmas and Valentines Hamper are our main fundraisers. We also run the meat draw for the month of July. Each year we will donate a certain amount to one local organization. This year we gave $500.00 to the Personal Care Home towards their courtyard repairs.
